Energy Eye customer Stafford Hospitality receives mention in Green Lodging News article showcasing energy savings performance
Green Lodging News (www.greenlodgingnews.com) has quickly become recognized as a well reputed source for information on environmental issues in the lodging industry with its weekly email newsletter. One of Energy Eye's long term customers Stafford Hospitality of Tifton, Georgia was recently a front page editorial in an article titled "After Taking Baby Steps at First, Stafford Hospitality Embraces ‘Green’," for showcasing its environmental efforts.
Among these efforts is their use of the Energy Eye System in three Holiday Inn properties and the Hilton Head Beachwalk Hotel (totaling 562 guestrooms). We were pleased of the positive highlights on guestroom energy management. Stafford reports that over a period of two years they have seen a 20% overall property energy reduction related to the installation of the Energy Eye System and over $40,000 total savings in one property alone.
