The article concerned hotel energy management practices and how greatly the guestroom control policies can impact the energy savings at a hotel property. Kopp was quoted alongside other industry leaders such as Stuart Brodsky, Director of Hospitality Services for the EPA Energy Star Program, Duke Hoffman, Director of Energy Management procurement for Avendra and Bill Dukes of Smart Systems.
