Energy Eye™ completed its first installation of products into a Golf Resort at Club Intrawest in Palm Desert, CA. This was a monumental development for Energy Eye™ on many fronts. The installation was completed by Energy Eye™ certified installers EMCS in six days during nearly full occupancy!

Energy Eye™ President Kopp explains, "This was quite a challenge for us. This property is set up in several buildings, in which most of the rooms are large suites, almost like small houses. Because like many properties it was constructed over a period of time as new buildings were added it was quite a challenge to determine the optimum installation techniques. Our installers from EMCS did a very impressive job however and mounted this seemingly impossible task in six days, even under heavy occupancy. In some casese the rooms were actually rented out during the installation, in others they were scheduled to be rented the same day so pressure was tight! This saved the property tremendous amounts of money that that would have otherwise resulted in lost revenue during the installation, for many properties this is a critical dealbreaker. Not with the Energy Eye™ System!"

Kopp continues, "We are very pleased with this. It is a first class property and proves again that this product will work anywhere. There are a lot of properties that just can't bear the headaches of trying to install a hardwired or centrally monitored system. Hotels often don't consider that they may lose 3 or 4 times the cost of the hardware itself in lost revenues by having to do the networking and construction for such systems. With that factored in it can mean a payback of close to a decade, somthing that hotels generally don't consider a viable project."

We continued by asking Kopp about any additional developments brought on by this installation, "Yes, there were other developments, this property also qualified for a significant rebate from the Utility. Because of that we expect a payback in less than one year, an easy decision for the property. We certainly hope more properties in this area will have the vision of Club Intrawest and look forward to working with them on our full service package that includes the installation and the full rebate administration."
