The EYEPOWER™ Solution utilizes a secondary energy-saving temperature set-back based thermostat controller. It can be used to universally control all types of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including both low voltage (24v) and high voltage (110v to 277v) applications.

EYEPOWER is the only energy management solution that has been rigorously tested and platinum certified to save between 15% and 35% on HVAC energy by GGEC, the Globally Green Energy Consortium—an internationally recognized non-profit certification body that sets standards for performance in the energy industry. It is the only platinum certified solution currently available on the marketplace.

Using a unique combination of entry door sensors and occupancy motion sensors to more accurately detect room occupancy status, our room control units (RCUs) initiate energy savings set-backs when the room is unoccupied. These sensors are available in both wireless radio-frequency and hardwired communications.

Our RCUs are unique in the industry, using a proprietary control algorithm that is not based solely on a fixed set-back temperature. Unlike fixed temperature-based systems, which can cause discomfort to the occupant if they return to an excessively hot or cold room, the EYEPOWER Solution uses a combination of both temperature and air conditioning duty run-time control. This ensures that the air conditioner will not run for excessively long or short periods. It also allows a more comfortable relative temperature and prevents air conditioner freeze-ups, which can occur if an A/C unit must return the temperature from an excessively high setting when the occupant returns.

Our RCUs can be used to add an additional level of control to your existing heating and air conditioning system, your building management system (such as Honeywell®, Alerton®, Trane®, or Johnson Controls®), or even if you want to improve the performance of an existing guest room energy management system.

Over the past eight years in the field, the EYEPOWER Solution has been successfully used to control all types heating and air conditioning systems, such as:

• Two and four-pipe centrally-based systems
• Resistive heating
• Wall-mounted heat pumps
• Window-mounted packaged air conditioners
• Mini-split type air conditioners
• Split-type air conditioners (commercial or residential)

The EYEPOWER Solution is expandable and scalable, suitable for a small property under 30 rooms to a large facility with thousands of control points. The EYEPOWER Solution is also uniquely and ideally suited for multi-room applications, such as suites, extended stay lodging, apartments and villas.

This is due to the solution’s ability to place occupancy sensors in multiple rooms to control a central thermostat—something our competitors’ solutions can’t do. The EYEPOWER Solution can also be used to control balcony or lanai doors, a function that is especially critical in extreme hot, cold or humid climates.

Additionally, the EYEPOWER Solution can be used to control special applications, such as rental units, where the owners wish to monitor the balcony door only, or back office and conference areas where there are no entry door control points.
